Shang dynasty, Anyang period (12th -- 11th century BC)
Height: 31 cm, Lid Diameter: 17 cm

Gu are characterised by their trumpet-shaped mouths, slender necks, small waist and high feet. They are the earliest form of a bronze serving vessel for wine.
