"Invitation to Dialogue" is a series of discussion sessions in which the Centre invites concerned individuals who feel the need to address some of our societal problems to get together to look at problems in greater scope and depth.

The rationale is that the world is now so interconnected that no problem can be solved in isolation. Solutions to any one problem could affect many. Therefore the process of arriving at this solution should involve those who will be affected. Cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural dialogue is the best way to arrive at solutions that are workable in the long term.

"Invitation to Dialogue" plans to identify a number of major societal issues (such as Democracy, Human Rights, Equality, Education, Roles and Leadership) and bring together people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and disciplines to hold broad and in-depth discussions.

These discussions can be organised at several levels, gradually linking specific issues and problems into a critique of the current world view, with the hope of discovering those elements in a New Paradigm that is more relevant to the new era towards which we are so rapidly approaching.

If this series of discussions can find sustained interest, this can be the basis of a Club of concerned individual, whose deliberation can be an input to policy makers.
