achieve our Objective, we hope to play the following roles:
Role
of a Catalyst
As a Catalyst ,
we hope to bring together parties including individuals from business, government,
academia, together with thinkers, opinion leaders and other public intellectuals,
so as to bring about the sharing of our concerns, the raising of issues, the
stimulation of cross disciplinary dialogue, and the formulation of actions and
programme.Role
of a Bridge
As a Bridge, we
create the network and linkages, both in physical and intellectual terms, to
enable individuals sharing our concern to reach out to or draw support from
other individuals in other organisations or locations.
Role of a Promoter
Through active involvement, we promote the awareness of the problems and encourage
the search for solution through providing the appropriate forums and platforms
for the sharing of our ideas, in the form of books,
seminars and conferences, education
programmes, research projects and cultural
activities.
